Welcome to the blog site for Stern Maguire Fine Art Ltd., a new dealership and gallery space in London's Mayfair. With over thirty years of art dealing experience between them, Bjorn Stern and Angus Maguire are pleased to annouce the opening of their joint venture from June 2011.
Understanding the importance of privacy and discretion in the current marketplace, the space is primarily open on an appointment only basis for private and museum collectors seeking to access high quality works of art spanning most movements of the 20th Century, from French Impressionism to present day Contemporary.
Aside from this activity, we intend to open the space on a more public basis to view works in curated exhibitions, loosely on the concept of incorporating today's Contemporary art with that of yesteryear. We will update this blog with new announcements of our exhibition schedule along with regular newsletters of our activities and any other titbits of market place news we think appropriate.
